For dog and cat issues call:

Today I had 3 calls with flying squirrels running around peoples houses and 2 bats flying around. I picked up 2 opossums in cages. he customer wanted to get rid of the skunks and the opossums were denning up with the skunks. Opossums will often times nestle right in with the skunks and they do get sprayed from time to time. We blocked the hole with a board so they could get out but not in. The customer was concerned we were taking animals that were not living under the shed and just passing by. I had told him if the board was pushed out then we would know that there were more living in there. Solving human animal conflicts is not about taking as many animals as you can, it is about solving their problem. If you trap with getting paid as much as you can without any regard for the customer then that isnt fair to the customer. I like to treat people the way I want to be treated.
today I had to travel 153 miles to do a follow up on a house. It was a vacant summer home that was infested with flying squirrels. When I first did the inspection There were flying squirrels running all over the place, in the attic, the basement and the main floors of the house. It was in a remote location too. Being in a remote location also meant the flying squirrels would try even harder than normal to get back in because they had no other place to go. Some of the areas that needed work had to be done using a mirror and extensions on all of my tools to reach the area. The exclusion tube I took down today was at the top of the house over the main entry way. The flying squirrels had not gotten back in and now the two year waiting period begins. If they get back in I will get them back out again and start the two year waiting period over again from the very beginning. I know that very few wildlife operators will put a warrantee like that on their work and I know of no operators personally except me that cover their work like this

Squirrel in your attic. Squirrels will commonly cause damage to attic insulation, or will chew wires in the attic. More significant, however, is the amount of damage they can do to the outside of the attic, on the exterior of the home. Squirrels And raccoons in Detroit are very active this month, and don't forget to have your attic insulation inspected for fecal contamination. We are experienced beaver trappers and possess all the proper licenses we will need to remove beavers.

Squirrel removal, snake removal, and rat trapping are also offered in Lansing , Michigan as part of our Pest Removal Services. Our objective is to prevent these pests from bothering you in the future by performing an animal exclusion process to seal any openings in your business or home.

Raccoons are among the most intelligent of wild animals. They are most active at night and their nightly travels depend upon where food is availabile and the prevailing weather conditions. Raccoons need to be removed from chimneys as quickly as possible, the longer they stay the more comfortable they become and their will to stay grows. Authorities are also worried about residents who violate the law in an effort to get rid of the animals. Raccoons are our specialty and with our effective raccoon control , raccoon removal and raccoon trapping strategies we can help you to keep the raccoons away. We are also experts in eliminating squirrel problems with our squirrel control, squirrel removal and squirrel trapping techniques.

Raccoons are mostly active at night, although they may be seen at dawn or dusk and sometimes even in the middle of the day. In northern climates the winter months are spent in the den, but they do not hibernate.

Trapping Flint squirrels at the roof entrance and near the entrance can be very successful Most Flint squirrel control service work is at the roof line if the house or dwelling. Getting the Flint squirrel out of the attic may require trapping, although it can be done through exclusion. Trapping squirrels woodchucks groundhogs gophers raccoons opossums foxes and snakes on a daily basis, has given us plenty of experience over the years. We can then perform repairs to prevent animal re entry, so you experience your wildlife problem once.

Animal Control requires a qualified and experienced expert. If you own a home or business in greater metropolitan area of Ann Arbor, Detroit, and surrounding communities, you can rely on our Animal Removal and Animal Control specialists. Animals like bats, pigeons, mice, rats, and bees are not only a nuisance, they can also be dangerous and destructive to your home. This means that you will want the best trapping professionals that can eliminate them as soon as possible. Animals destroy electrical wiring, phone, cable, computer lines and security systems. Wildlife can also be carriers of disease such as rabies, distemper and many other serious diseases.

Trees with naturally occurring cavities serve as den trees. Tree species on higher ground include cottonwood, green ash, hackberry, red maple, sycamore, river birch, and a variety of oaks. Open water areas are populated with a variety of aquatic plants. Trees also provide them with acorns, nuts, and bark to eat. But gray squirrels also help themselves at bird feeders, and whenever they can find them, they eat bird eggs and even chicks.

Tree wraps can protect smaller trees and a wrap of chicken wire can protect valued shrubs from rabbit damage. Wraps need to be removed in the spring, though. Tree squirrels love to live in attics. It’s warmer, drier and safer from predators.

Skunks usually eat beetles, crickets, mice, rats, eggs, fruit and grain. The main complaint of damage that is done by skunks are in yards being dug up while the skunk are digging for grubs and night crawlers, the next common complaint are pets getting sprayed by a skunk. Skunk control can be tricky business but if done correctly does not have to be sAnn Arbory business. Skunks and raccoons can detect these grubs and will actively dig for them.

Skunks, bears, and raccoons eat as much as they can and put on layers of fat under their skins. Squirrels bury nuts and acorns to store for winter. Skunks are also an attractive nuisance to dogs. The inexperienced, and even experienced dog will investigate the trail of a skunk. Skunks, by contrast, just dig a hole where the grub is. I also understand that raccoons can strip a com husk like a human.

Removing one animal just opens up a luxury condominium for the next tenant unless the homeowner takes the proper steps to prevent it. Trapping and moving animals without this step is, in my opinion, irresponsible. Removing breeding Squirrels may leave the babies to die in your building, attracting unwanted bugs and parasites, causing further health risks. The removal of Squirrel carcasses is a time consuming, costly and unnecessary process. Removing large, overhanging trees or branches will help discourage squirrels from using your attic as a nest site.

Dear TIm,

I very much enjoyed speaking with you on the phone about the animal problem in my ceiling. You not only explained how your company works, but the fact that you close up any potential entry areas and guarantee your work made me feel I had chosen the right company.

Your technician, Russell, politely called ahead to let me know when he would arrive within the time window we had predetermined. Upon arrival, Russell surveyed my raccoon and squirrel problem, then explained to me how he was going to handle it. He was very thorough and maintained phone contact with me to keep apprise of the situation. Additionally, he made several trips back to check the progress and then finish the job.

He also pointed out that my kitchen exhaust had no cover on it, and he took care of that issue as well.  Which was very helpful, because I would have felt awful if I had accidentally smoked a nest of baby birds.

Thank you for your service. I will certainly recommend your company to anyone I know who has a wild animal control animal issue. Thank again.

Sincerely,

KT (Kathleen) Robeson
